Collagen Induction Therapy (Microneedling)
Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy (CIT), has remained a popular aesthetic treatment for years for one very good reason: it works. With minimal downtime, it addresses numerous skin problems related to aging, pigmentation, acne, and acne scarring, while improving both tone and texture. Collagen induction therapy stimulates your skin’s natural healing response through controlled micro-injuries, promoting collagen and elastin production for improved skin texture, tone, and firmness.

At DermCARE, we go beyond the basics with our favorite anti-aging skin treatment. Our standard Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) treatment includes hyaluronic acid, which acts as a glide agent for the device and improves hydration as it is channeled into the deeper layers of the skin. We also offer several options to include in your Microneedling procedure, if you choose.
Microneedling Options
With Hyaluronic Acid – this is used with all of our standard CIT treatments for hydration.
With Exosomes and PDRN, exosomes are small vesicles derived from cells that act as messengers to deliver growth factors and other molecules to skin cells, enhancing the regeneration process. PDRN is extracted from salmon sperm DNA; it contains the building blocks cells need for repair, helps reduce inflammation, promotes faster healing, and boosts collagen production. The combination of exosomes and PDRN creates a powerful synergy. The exosomes direct the PDRN to where it’s needed most, allowing for more targeted and effective healing.
With Neurotoxins, this combined treatment, often called Meso-Botox, uses a diluted form of the neurotoxin applied to the skin’s surface during microneedling to enhance texture, minimize pores, and soften fine lines. Microneedling creates channels that allow the neurotoxin to be absorbed into the superficial layers. This differs from traditional injections, which target muscles to relax them. By delivering the neurotoxin to the skin, the treatment helps to tighten the skin and reduce the appearance of pores. The combination also stimulates collagen production, which helps to improve skin texture and soften fine lines and wrinkles.
With Radiofrequency – combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy. Tiny needles on the device create micro-injuries, while the RF energy heats the deeper layers of the skin, stimulating collagen production using the mechanical injury of needling and the thermal injury of RF energy.
